03 Aug Our Fave Charity Shop Finds
Nothing feels better than walking into a charity shop and finding a true gem amongst piles of other clothes. Here at instinct we love a good vintage find, and it’s safe to say we have found a fair few treasures over the years…
One thing that charity shops have no shortage of is blazers. Whilst the usual suspects are high street faves like M&S, Account Exec Anna spotted this dreamy pink Ralph Lauren Blazer, perfect for those transitional months to add a pop of colour.
Dresses of Dreams
With wedding season in full swing one thing, everyone wants to avoid twinning with another guest… One sure way to ensure that doesn’t happen is hitting your favourite charity shop and finding a show stopping dress.
One that we love is Rosie’s blue and black polka dot dress – which gives major sleek Kate Middleton vibes, perfect for everything from press trips to weddings.

Basics with a twist? Whilst you can find practically brand-new items, charity shops are mainly a gold mine for pieces no longer find on the high street (we’re talking 90s and Y2K vibes), and Eleanor found Guess top for £4 (that’s right, £4), in one of her local charity shops.
One thing we love about charity shops is you never know what’s hiding behind that basic H&M top on the rail, it’s always a hunt and if you’re lucky you’ll come out with some stand out pieces which last a lifetime. We’ve discovered everything from Aje blouses to Valentino heels, and most of it is virtually new.
The key thing with the charity shop hunt is that it’s just that, a hunt. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t find anything, they’re constantly putting out new pieces and every day brings the possibility of a Dior bag (happened to one of us!)
To get the highest chance of finding your new love, we recommend choosing a high street that has a couple for you to visit like West Hampstead or Westbourne Grove, as you’ve got more possibility of a win.
