instinct’s Female-Only Culture Corner

For this month’s culture corner, we’re giving the spotlight to women, sharing our favourite female-led shows, podcasts and more!

ROSIE – Brené Brown, became viral in 2010 with her widely watched ted talk about conquering shame and she’s back with an uplifting series called Atlas of the Heart on Apple TV. Whether you’re looking for inspiration to make a major life decision, or just need a boost after watching too many true crime thrillers – you’ll struggle not to feel positive vibes after just one episode watching the queen of pep talks.

ELLIE – The Stack World, owned by Sharmadean Reid. It’s a brilliant online platform which brings together a community of women who offer business advice.

ZOE – Manifest by self-development coach Roxie Nafousi. This book is all about manifesting what you want out of life, especially targeted at women. I love her approach that it’s actually not impossible to ‘have it all’!

GRACE – ‘Should I Delete That’ hosted by influencers Emily Clarkson and Alex Light. It only launched in Jan and their second guest was Jameela Jamil so they’re off to a flying start, discussing everything from feminism and diet myths to dating and OnlyFans, always with a touch of humour.

CAROLINE – The Guilty Feminist podcast hosted by Deborah Francis-White. It’s a bit of a phenomenon and now a live tour – with guests including Tom Allen, Rob Rinder and Candice Braithwaite talking through exactly how everyone can be that little bit better at feminism.

ANNA – The Receipts podcast. They are hilarious and talk about every topic under the sun, it’s like listening to your friends give you advice! I listen to it every day on my commute and it is a great chance to unwind.

KENISHA – My fave artist of the moment is SZA, who recently won a Grammy. Her music is all about living your best life and cutting toxic people out of it, which always a good thing to remember… and she always promotes prioritising yourself!
