Our Favourite Lockdown Achievements

For this post, we wanted to give a spotlight to some of our brilliant team members. While it’s been a successful year for instinct, we’ve all had our own individual achievements and some memorable highlights!

Rosie Taylor – Account Director

Getting named in PR week’s 30 under 30. I think that would be a big deal any year, but felt extra special in 2020.

Grace Carroll – Senior Account Manager

My introduction into the world of virtual events – I’ve done many events and shoots with instinct over the years, usually with a production team to handle the technical bits. This wasn’t the case for the Plymouth Gin virtual cook-a-long filmed in Mark Hix’s kitchen, and we were required to get to grips with camera angles, sound, lighting, all whilst managing the talent. It was definitely a learning experience and we’ve been perfecting our virtual skills ever since!

Lauren Mote – Senior Account Executive

Working with an independent artist to create beautiful customised prints for some very creative send-outs with QVC UK.

Caroline Lott – Publicity Director

Launching MALFY, our premium Italian gin client at the start of the summer. With mini lemon tree send outs hitting the great and the good of the journalist world, we spread a bit of that Amalfi ‘Dolce Vita’ feeling to a huge range of style titles with the likes of Grazia, Elle, Stella, Town and Country, Stylist and This Morning covering, making sure MALFY was the stylista’s drink of choice for summer 2020.

Lauren McCombie – Account Executive

An achievement for me is continuing to work well with the instinct team despite us being so far apart! It’s comforting to know that we’ve got such a strong, tight knit group that are still able to have a laugh over virtual work drinks, or even just in our daily team meetings. I guess it’s proof that we actually like each other!
