05 Oct QVC Reunites with Style Guru Gok Wan
To celebrate style guru Gok Wan’s latest collection at QVC we decided to take a trip down memory lane to revisit some of QVC UK’s most noteworthy designers, along with our favourite launch events.
Back in October 2019, Gok launched his debut collection with QVC: WULI:LUU by Gok Wan. To mark the occasion, we hosted press and influencer appointments at his favourite Soho spot, The Groucho Club. Coverage flowed in, with interviews from WhoWhatWear, HELLO! Online, Notebook and more. For his capsule autumn/winter collection this year, we reached out to some of the UK’s top fashion influencers, encouraging them to style the interchangeable pieces and announce the collection to their followers on launch day. A total of 25 posts went live, an interview in Woman & Home and there’s plenty more to come!
We can’t forget our Ruth, and this November we’re celebrating three years of her successful Ruth Langsford Fashion collection at QVC UK. Back in 2017, Ruth debuted her first designs at the iconic Henrietta Hotel in Covent Garden. The sun drenched mezzanine played host to the intimate breakfast event, attended by press from a host of publications, including Instyle, The Daily Mail, HELLO! Fashion Monthly and Woman and Home with some impressive coverage across the board.
Last October, we hosted an exclusive influencer event to mark the launch of Amanda Holden’s AW19 BundleBerry collection with QVC UK, channelling her passion for interior design through a sixth range of chic soft furnishings and home accessories. The event was held at the majestic Mortimer House, where style expert and influencer Erica Davies interviewed Amanda with an audience of special guests. Guests included well respected influencers within the interiors sphere, such as JustALittleBuild, Kerry Lockwood, Come Down to the Woods and Hygge For Home. Today, QVC UK launches Amanda Holden’s eighth BundleBerry collection (full of gorgeous velvet and vintage inspired pieces) and while we weren’t able to hold an event this year, we’ve got lots of plans in store for 2021!
Last but not least, in March 2019 we launched the first homeware collection by interiors expert and Instagram star Erica Davies, showcasing the collection for press and influencers at White City House. Cosmopolitan Online, HELLO! Online and Good Housekeeping were among those eager to attend, and we arranged interviews with Erica from the likes of Red Online, Evening Standard and Grazia, where she shared expert tips and chatted about her favourite pieces from the collection.
