Havana Club Reps The Ends

With festival season in full swing, London is buzzing with weeks of non-stop events. Among additions to our roster for 2019 is Croydon’s brand new Urban Music date The Ends festival, with headliners including Nas, Wiz Kid and Damian Marley.

We were appointed by Cuban rum legend Havana Club to support the brand’s association with the festival. While we previously debated whether festivals are worth the brand investment, this is certainly one clear example of an authentic partnership. After all, what better combination than hearing your favourite playlist live with a Havana Club cocktail in hand?? Naturally, we jumped at the chance.

Havana Club didn’t sit on the sidelines as sponsor: earlier this year the brand declared a mission to find the UK’s fiercest up and coming talent in rap, grime and r’n’b. In partnership with Live Nation, a competition began to find six talented winners to open the festival. Nobody was disappointed.

We reached out to our music and lifestyle contacts with news of the venture to generate some real noise, arranging interviews with the announced winners and inviting selected press to the Havana Club VIP festival experience. We secured seven features; including Wonderland & Clash Magazine, five interviews and a combined social reach tipping the million mark, all turned around within a two-week window. And we’re so excited to see these amazing young acts take off.
