We are pleased to announce two promotions within the instinct family this month. Congratulations to Rosie Taylor, who has been promoted to Account Director and Caroline Lott who has been made Publicity Director.

We asked them to share a little insight to their time at instinct.

Rosie Taylor:

I moved to the UK from Atlanta five years ago, fresh out of University with an art history degree and an inkling PR could be the career path for me. The team at instinct must have felt the same and I went perm as a press assistant after a summer internship. Since that day, I’ve never stopped learning and I think part of that stems from the size of instinct. Whether you’re an intern or a Director, you have an impact and feel as though you are really contributing to the success of a campaign. And boy are those campaigns varied! In my time here I’ve brokered London Fashion Week partnerships, launched campaigns with supermodels and football stars, enjoyed press trips to Florence, Venice, and France and gone undercover at Comic Con with national newspapers. Not only have I had the pleasure to launch some incredible campaigns, but I’ve worked alongside some of the industry’s best while executing them. The relationships I’ve built at instinct don’t just stay in the board room, I’ve found a family here to rival my one back home in the US – there’s no shortage of weddings, hen dos, birthdays and bbqs between clients and the team!

Recently, I’ve shifted from being focused primarily on fashion accounts and I’m enjoying the challenge of working with different styles of brands across consumer activations with Pernod Ricard, Help for Heroes and more. It’s an exciting time to be a part of instinct. We’re growing quickly, and the opportunities for personal expansion and team development are huge.

Caroline Lott:

I joined instinct back in 2014, as a fresh faced Senior Account Manager, working on clients such as Disney On Ice, Frontline Spot On and Savse juices. Staying for just over a year I worked on some of the best campaigns I’ve ever had the privilege of being involved with in, before I tried freelancing elsewhere on and off for a couple of years.

In the summer of 2017 however I came back again – 3rd time lucky! – which was supposed to be for an initial three week period but here we are in July 2019 and I’m delighted to say that I’m not only becoming a permanent member of this fantastic team but also taking on the role of Publicity Director. This is the first time the agency has taken this role, which is a huge privilege and means I will work alongside the team to ensure all things to do with media are the best they can be to ensure we’re driving fantastic quality – and quantity of – coverage!
