06 Mar instinct’s Weekend Television Takeover
Over the last four months we’ve been working on a MONSTER sized secret project and we couldn’t be more excited to talk about it. We teamed up with the nation’s most loved TV duo, Ant and Dec, for the most unforgettable Ant Vs Dec challenge ever attempted for Saturday Night Takeaway with them racing Monster Jam trucks LIVE (yes really LIVE) on TV. The Monster Jam challenge was the biggest ever attempted on live British television, with some facts and figures including:
- Over 40 people flying over from the U.S. to help bring the Monster Jam track to life at the ITV studios for the event
- A custom tracking being built over three full days in Central London
- Two legendary Monster Jam Trucks each weighing 12,000 lbs were shipped over especially from Tampa in the U.S.
- Ant and Dec travelled a staggering 9,000 miles to see the Monster Jam Trucks in action before signing up for the challenge
Ant and Dec raced the legendary Grave Digger and Max-D in a nail biting challenge with Ant being crowned the overall winner. If you missed the adrenaline charged competitive rivalry you can watch it here:
Or better yet to see more of the unexpected, unscripted and unforgettable motorsports experience make sure you come to the Principality Stadium on the 19th May to watch Monster Jam for yourself!
If that wasn’t enough our client QVC also appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway when Ant & Dec pranked Amanda Holden while she was showcasing her new Bundleberry range on QVC…we can’t wait to get our hands on the Bundleberry trunks.
Not stopping there, on Sunday night, and for the first time ever on national TV, characters such Anna, Elsa, Tinker Bell, Ariel, Rapunzel, Tiana, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, and Cinderella appeared together for a Disney On Ice extravaganza on Dancing On Ice.
