Our Year in Review

Oh 2016, what a strange year you’ve been. In amongst all the drama of Brexit, Trump and Prince Harry’s new girlfriend, we’ve been busy beavering away doing all of this…

In January we kicked off the year with one of our coolest campaigns ever for Disney On Ice. We dressed Denise Van Outen in a dress made out of ice to launch the new tour and secured blanket coverage across print, online and TV. We then got a bit of a taste for icy stunts and, later in the year, made London snow in summer to launch Disney On Ice presents Frozen!

We also launched the first ever Marmite popcorn with Joe & Seph’s, much to the excitement of the mysterious ‘Marmarati’ and GBBO’s Nadia Hussain!

screen-shot-2016-12-15-at-16-05-12To top it all off we held our first all agency press day and showcased AW16 collections from our fashion clients. We then held a second press day for SS17 later in the year with both events showcasing 20 brands to over 200 of London’s top fashion contacts stopping by including Daily Telegraph, GQ, Marie Claire and i-D.

Then summer arrived which for most would mean festivals and holidays but for us it was all about fleas and ticks! In our first ever experiential campaign, we launched FRONTLINE Plus. We built a giant inflatable house, unveiled it at London Victoria Station, then took in on tour to pet shows across the UK. We recruited Gogglebox’s Steph and Dom Parker, their adorable pup Gigi and TV Vet Dr Scott Miller to front the PR campaign which helped us deliver our most successful FRONTLINE campaign to date! 10 brands.

mc_frontline_005October saw a new addition to our coverage ‘hall of fame’ with a full page dedicated to our inspirational hairloss client Lucinda Ellery in the ‘holy grail’, otherwise known as the Daily Mail. Three years in the making, the article generated over 300 enquiries at Lucinda’s studios and 200 consultations booked. It is safe to say we had one very happy client!

screen-shot-2016-12-15-at-16-18-06In the autumn we took it back to the 90’s by winning Diadora as a client. Since then we’ve been working hard to show the UK that the brand is making a comeback with the likes of Shortlist, Men’s Health and Hypebeast sharing their excitement and there’s plenty more to come…

screen-shot-2016-12-15-at-16-21-28To reward ourselves for all our hard work we hopped on the Eurostar to Paris for our Christmas party! Skipping around the Eiffel Tower in santa hats and reindeer antlers was the perfect way to say ‘Au Revoir’ to 2016.

Many will be glad to see the back of this year but we will look back at it fondly. 2017, we’re ready for you!
